Benefits
Each selected fellow receives a fellowship package worth up to $300,000 CAD, including:
- $70,000 as a fellowship prize
- $50,000 as a research grant
- Up to $100,000 in additional research funding
- Up to $80,000 to cover one year of teaching release, paid to the university
In addition to the financial support, fellows join a national community of scholars, mentors, and public leaders committed to addressing major societal challenges.
The fellowship duration is three years, allowing fellows to focus on impactful research and leadership development.

Application Procedure
Candidates cannot apply directly. They must be nominated by an eligible Canadian university.

- Final fellows are selected by the Foundation
